
Gessetto Restaurant – Italian cuisine
Five years after opening Gessetto Wine Bar, I decided to replicate the “Gessetto” method focusing more on food. In the square in front of the Wine Bar I acquired an old restaurant and radically remodeled it to create “Gessetto Restaurant”, specialized in Italian cuisine.
I built a team of professionals who were remarkably experienced and reliable. Together we created a simple menu that was well-studied and complete with traditional Italian recipes. Sangiovese braised sausage tagliatelle with soft squacquerone cheese, lasagna and tortellini Bolognese, as well as a variety of grilled Italian meats and vegetarian dishes like squash pie with cream cheese or white zucchini Parmesan. Wines were carefully selected from interesting local and national wine producers like Cantina Travaglino, Balter, Cantina Castello del Trebbio, Cantina Corte Adami, Cantina del Notaio, Cantina Giovannini and many others. Our motto is “authentic cuisine at an honest price”.
